Directing thoughts via blogging as a confidence clutch:

The spotlight problem, and the virtues of a ‘good aspirant of science’

Life as a student of science that ardently ascribes to Apple’s (1997-2002) Slogan “Think Different”, has to take on the task of collaboration. Without luck in favour, the task becomes challenging and exhaustive given to work with the impassive “others”. A naturally erroneous but fervent reader who happens to also be an introvert; awaiting his/her moment of glory to shine, faced with disappointment and disapproval from another erroneous individual that simply wishes to be in the spotlight-with not so much of attention directed on performing the task. The patient one thrives in taking responsibility to think through the task systematically, but then of course, the spotlight redirects. Nobody wants that. Not even, I think, the unassuming one.

Should the spotlight be a necessity for a ‘proper’ Scientist? Does philosophy help in tailoring/reframing the mind on one’s view of science? Does the scientific community respect the atypical thinkers who have nothing but imaginative mind as their asset? Is Science the right career path for me? Am I prepared to enter the field of the Sciences?

My aim with this blog-site is to post about my reflections/ insights about Science and on the Scientific method, whilst integrating philosophical enquiries- with resonance from the historical giants in the field of science; virtues not taught, but it’s necessity brought into light purely from experience- the best teacher.
